CPHI Milan 2026: an exhibitor's playbook for turning pharma booth traffic into orders

CPHI returns to Fiera Milano this October with the global pharma supply chain in one hall. The exhibitors who leave with pipeline, not just a stack of badges, do four things differently.

CPHI 2026 runs from 6 to 8 October at Fiera Milano in Milan. The organiser expects over 2,400 exhibitors and 62,000 visitors from 166 countries (source: CPHI). Drug makers and suppliers get only three days to meet a year's worth of buyers.

The problem is not traffic. It is what happens after.

Most booths hold more talks than the team can follow up. A rule expert from Brazil, a buyer from Vietnam, and a seller from the Gulf may each leave a card. Each expects a reply in their language and on their own time. The best leads may cool before the booth team gets home.

Four things the exhibitors with pipeline do differently

  • 01Capture in the moment, structured. A scanned badge is a name. A twenty-second voice note attached to it, wants a CEP for our paracetamol API, ships to Egypt, send the DMF, is a qualified lead.
  • 02Answer in the buyer's language, the same day. A procurement manager who gets a clear reply in Portuguese or Arabic within hours reads it as competence. A generic English autoresponder reads as a queue.
  • 03Keep the regulatory promise straight. Pharma buyers ask about CEPs, DMFs, GMP status and stability data. The follow-up that states exactly what you can share, and by when, moves faster than the one that says let me check.
  • 04Run the follow-up on rails. A patient sequence over the weeks after the show keeps you in the file until the buyer's qualification cycle catches up.

Where Fairshift fits

Fairshift Capture turns a badge scan and voice note into a clear lead record. It can work without hall Wi-Fi. Monsoon drafts the next message in the buyer's language and with your terms. Fairshift watches email health, but cannot promise inbox delivery. The booth talk stays linked to its quote and order.
